Today we began what I hope will be phase one of our basement "renovation". That is, we are wanting to clean the gravel floor out of the basement and pour cement. It couldn't happen soon enough! The weather is turning colder and 5 little boys are driving Tonka trucks around the hardwood floors on our cramped 1st floor in an effort to occupy themselves. It is positively deafening. I hope they can move their toys into the basement to play after the cement is dry.
