For those who hadn't heard...
This is Tucker. My sometimes reliable car. Nice little thing. I got to meet some very interesting characters because of him...Whenever he broke down in random parking lots. There was something about his...smallness...that made people think they could fix whatever was wrong. Usually they couldn't. Yes, Tucker was a good car. Even with his little quirks.
Then...I killed him. There was an important little thing that I forgot called OIL. Did you know that running a car out of oil ruins the engine? Always remember that.
After a proper mourning period...ha ha...while I drove the brother's truck to work (Thanks, Logan!), I was on the lookout for another car. Or rather, my dear younger brothers were looking for me. Things weren't moving along very fast. My grandparents came to the restaurant where I'm a hostess for lunch and we were discussing my need for a car. By the time my shift had ended, my Grandpa had found me the car below.
My Grandma and Grandpa drove (through the rain, in the dark!) with me to pick it up. And my Grandpa did all the wheelin' and dealin'. (Thankfully, since I didn't seem to inherit a talent for that sort of thing.)
I am VERY happy with this car. Ok. I confess. At first I had a hard time figuring out how to get him in reverse...so I reverted to pushing him out of parking spaces. Which made people laugh at us. But usually someone appeared out of nowhere and helped out. I got it figured out now. =)
Here are a couple pictures of the adventures this car has been through already...
How many people can you fit in a bug?
We were supposedly posing by the bug, but there were too many people and you can just barely see him.
Everybody got their turn to drive him around.
Um...yeah...
My cute baby brother...
I'm taking votes and suggestions on a name for him. Here are a few that people have suggested already:
Melvin
Lennard
Squirt
Homer
Hummer
