Yesterday the boys and I started digging up a little space to set the bbq grill beside the house. I figured we'd gravel it and be done with it. Well, we got a wee bit carried away and now it looks like we'll be getting a 15'x18' patio instead. All's Paul said about the whole matter was: Now you know why I didn't start this project!
I'm sort of greasy from having helped Paul straighten up the shop all day. I'm happy with the progress we made. I'm never really sure if the bolts I find on the floor are the $5 a piece ones I had once been sent to town for or just ordinary cheaper ones, so I've thrown quite a few into buckets f0r the guys to later sort.
The day is winding down---or at least it probably is for the normal populace. I just got back from running "all the wrenches from the drawer, a flashlight, a roll of towels, and a drink" over to the other farm for Paul. Even I could smell the clutch on the tractor had been smoked.
Logan and Geof are out with the guys who came to wrap the hay.
The little people have had their baths. That's the kind of thing that makes Mommies feel like they've accomplished something!
Daniel and Janel arrived a little while ago. Daniel immediately jumped into the big brother mode and played with the boys while Janel set to help make yogurt.....which Audrey informed me that she ran out of starter. Maria and Janel are now in town getting a new one. Opps, that was really bad planning there.
