Numbers

So, it's been a crazy week. I arrived home from PA to find nearly all of my sibling sick with some horrible flu. Fevers, coughs and chills; the boys actually have been so sick the house has been QUIET!!! Here are some numbers to give you an idea of what it's like at our house this week:

1 - more person down today...Aud, who NEVER gets sick, has a fever.

2- times a day that Dad has to drag himself outside to milk the cows. Poor guy feels like crud, but chores must be done. THANKS to Josh for his help (and risk of catching this) and Logan, who gave up his date with Sandy last night to lift a hand.
*Then, on top of chores, there is an Expo this weekend that we have a booth for our bed hardware at. So, Dad had to go set that up.

3 - people who haven't succumbed to this sickness. (Mom, Logan and Mia) Yes, we live in daily dread of waking up with a fever. Bless Mom's heart, she's worn out from being up and down every night. We've been trying to keep up with everything, but aren't really succeeding.

4 - kids who are finally feeling a bit better...Shan, Trevor, Clark and Clay. Not that we aren't happy that they feel better, but with the exception of Shan, it's a bit unhandy to have the littlest kids all feel good without any older ones feeling good enough to pick up after them.

5 - days so far that most of the kids have been flat out sick.

6 - hours until bedtime! (Or, we hope, anyway.)

7 - meals (or so) that have been eaten this week. The poor little sick kids haven't had any appetites.

8 -th book of Job, verse 21: 'He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.'

9 - on a scale of 1-10, how sick of The Andy Griffith Show are we?! The sick ones have been amusing themselves with watching them EVERY SINGLE DAY. Am thankful that we have every single season, but still it's a little scary when you start to hate the sound of Barney's voice.

10 - or more- times I've tried to come up with an tenth number and couldn't. Too tired to think.

And a random number!
48 - cups that I found, gathered and washed this morning. We hope this means people haven't been sharing glasses (and germs)!!!
