Another Nap

Dining together

"And who will help me eat it?" asked the Little Red Hen.

"We will!" exclaimed the Three Little Piggies in unison.

Oh, wait!  Wait!  That is a mix of stories, but you get the picture.  The pigs here are getting their slop with some clabbered milk which the chickens also enjoy.

Two Pigs in a.....

.....feed trough?  You thought I was going to say "poke", didn't you?

While I wouldn't find this especially comfortable, these pigs must find it so or they wouldn't be doing it.  If the chickens think their behavior is uncouth, they are choosing to go about their business nonchalantly and not mention it.

Light and Airy

Another view of the green-hen house.  The nest boxes are along the wall on the right.  We are still working on getting the perfect tilt to those so as to minimize the number of cracked eggs we get.

Berkshire Hogs

The newest batch of pigs getting their start in the greenhouse while we wait for spring to come.

Happy Chicken Apartment

It being winter and everything, we moved the laying flock into one of our two greenhouses where they stay cozy and snug against all elements.

You may notice some pigs further back.  They have a "room" to themselves in this building.
