Blake and Christine have been married for 4 weeks now! While it's a bit unfortunate that the house they've been planning to rent has been slow in becoming empty of it's current renters, they seem to be enjoying the coziness of their current arrangement. What a girl who would leave home and all that is familiar to her to come here to Ohio to live in a bus and a greasy mechanic shop!! She told us today that's she going to actually miss it when they move into the house.
I was just thinking today how funny it was that Blake once changed the rear axle on our family's 15 passenger van when he was something like 13 years old. When he was done he wasn't even legally able to take it out on the road for a test drive. His life's been a little like that: doing stuff he wasn't quite old enough to do. His problems now-adays are of a similar vent---things like trying to convince the phone company to give them phone service. Apparently the powers-that-be assume that *all* 19 year olds don't pay their utility bills just because *some* 19 year olds don't pay them. Sigh. They obviously don't know Blake. HA.
