They say good farm help is hard to find.
They haven't met Daniel.
Daniel, by true definition, isn't really "farm help". He is more an extension of the family. At any rate, he also helps on the farm, arriving every morning by 7AM and putting in many quality hours 5 days a week.
This morning I woke to a clanging and banging (softly, of course) in the kitchen. Guess who was making breakfast? Daniel! This isn't in his job description, but he arrived and decided to cook up some oatmeal and fry up some eggs and sausage.
Why? He woke up hungry. Go Daniel!
I can't even imagine raising BOYS any other place than a farm. I have a 16 year old son hanging from the beams of a building right now kicking the daylights out of the siding....all for a good cause. He is removing the old siding so he and Daniel can put up new. I am guessing there are a couple guys who are going to come to the house after awhile ready for a rest. That siding has been on there for a 100 years or so, no kidding!
