Maria is the proud grand prize winner of a DeWalt drill set. She entered a drawing at a local farm store last week while there with dad and was quite shocked to hear that she won!!! She said she wanted a hat instead. (jk) Her brothers are all quite jealous and have been making offers to buy it from her.

Daniel and Janel were here Saturday.
Daniel helped the boys work on a truck some..

Trevor is 3 weeks old today!

It has always amazed me how fast time passes AFTER a baby is born than it does BEFORE a baby is born! When I sat looking at the calendar at the start of March, realizing the baby was due in three whole weeks, it looked like an eternity!! Now that he's here, the three weeks since have gone by in a blur!!!

We are working out little bumps in our schedule.....like trying to clean up this house and get meals on time....but really things are going pretty smoothly with a newborn in the house. I owe much of that to having teenage daughters (and teenage sons, but they mostly just stain up Trevor's sleepers with the shop grease left on their hands when they come in for lunch).

Earlier, I needed to get a few things in town. I left Trevor with Maria for half an hour or so. I came back to a freshly bathed and sleeping baby. Not only did I not have to take him out in the rain, he was treated pretty cushy here at home! LOL.

This past weekend we were happy to have friends here from VT for a very rare visit. Everyone seemed to hit it off well. We had 23 people here for every meal and what a hub bub of noise that was, what with 19 of those 23 being 20 years old or younger! We saw them off on Monday morning.
