Home Offices
There are some definite advantages to having a home office. I can see the snow out the window and not have to drive in it. I can get to work whenever I have a spare moment instead of having to look busy for an employer at expected intervals. (Well, if I don't count Paul....)
There are also drawbacks, especially if you have a 3 year old. Important notes disappear. There are Sharpie drawings all over the office furniture. The tape is never where I left it. The calculator paper is always in used up coils. (I must admit, I think the noise of it printing is fun, too!)
Today I had to smile at Clark. He was asking me, "How come people sitting at the 'puter always say, 'Uh humm, bye.'?" Apparently he's witnessed his share of phone conversations.
